TRADITIONAL ILLUSTRATION

Traditional illustration is fascinating, with its tangible, authentic materials and colors. The immediacy of line and pigments transmits immediate artistic value. Equally important is the surface were the drawing and color are applied. For instance on heavy weight paper both line and color follow the rough surface of the paper, acquiring a distinct texture, completely different from the result on smooth and homogeneous light weigh paper.
